Alzheimer’s & Dementia Care

First-Hand Care

Taking care of a family member with Alzheimer’s or Dementia can be a daunting task. Many people find themselves to be unequipped or underprepared to deal with all of the unforeseen circumstances that come with Alzheimer’s or Dementia Care. At Courtland Manor, we provide intimate, first-hand care for our Alzheimer’s and Dementia residents. We have a private 12-bed wing of the facility dedicated entirely to Alzheimer’s and Dementia care to give our residents the extra help and attention that they need to live their best life.

Living Their Best Life

Courtland Manor believes that every resident deserves to live their best life. Our Alzheimer’s and Dementia residents are evaluated and monitored to participate in our specially designed activity program. All residents have access to our enclosed courtyard where they have the freedom to enjoy the outdoors and have a little independence. This time outside is monitored by staff to assure the resident’s safety. Our activities cater to the resident’s needs so that we can keep them living independently for as long as possible. In addition to our activities our Alzheimer’s and Dementia residents follow the same person-centered approach to care as our other residents providing a personalized touch.

Limited Space

We keep our private Alzheimer’s unit to 12 beds (private rooms) to ensure every one of our Alzheimer’s or Dementia patients are given unparalleled attention and treatment. If you have a loved one who is in need of a care facility equipped to handle Alzheimer’s or Dementia patients, don’t hesitate to visit us today. Space is limited to the number of beds available, although prospective residents may join a waitlist.
